Welcome to Retina Youth, A place for us.
Retina Youth is part of Retina NZ and aims to be self-determining in supporting the needs of young people living with sight loss.
Our goal is to find and support young people suffering from Retinal Disorders. Retina Youth really is "a place for us". It is a place to get together, a place to express yourself, a place to live, learn and grow. Retina Youth is open to anyone from 18 to 35 regardless of your degree of visual impairment. Family and friends are welcome to join too. Becoming a member is as easy as joining Retina Youth on facebook or becoming part of Retina NZ. We try to meet up in various places around New Zealand each year. Our meet-ups are usually pretty informal. We just like to get together and chill out, meet other young people going through the same deal, so be sure to check out the News & Events for the next meet up.
